be asking some of the question like "does it add power". You would know that removing it does not add power. Most people remove the EGR when the engine is out because that is the easiest time to do it. They remove it because it is either deffective or they don't want to have to try and replace it or fix it down the road if it breaks. It is an emissions item and a lot of people don't have to deal with emissions inspections.
If you saw how to replace it then you saw how to delete it. Common sense would tell you to delete it you don't put it back in and you plug all the holes that were connected to it.
You will find that many on this forum have little tolerance for those who exercise common sense.
